Week 87, 5/30/17

MLC pic outside for a change
Whoa. That was a crazy week....

With transfers happening on Wednesday and preparing for Elder Ballard to visit the mission on June 10th, Elder Hunsaker and I have been SWAMPED with paperwork and admin stuff.  Every day it's at least a few hours. We had MLC too, it was a very long but awesome meeting.

If only it were approved...
We haven't been able to do too much actual finding or teaching, but the little we have been able to do has been quite refreshing for us, and hopefully for those we taught as well.  We have an investigator named Ray who is quite the fellow.  He wants to be baptized but just needs to kick a bad habit first.  He has a lot of health struggles too, it's a bit saddening to meet with him just because he is in so much pain all the time. The Gospel keeps him going though!

We also taught a guy named Lawrence from Ghana.  He seems pretty solid.  Funny coincidence, a year ago when I was in Greenfield (Greenfield has always bordered Southgate and the boundaries recently changed so part of Greenfield last year is now Southgate), his wife was one of the sister's investigators right before we took over all their work.  We were never able to have a lesson with her though.  Hopefully we will get to now. :)

Well this week will probably be more of the same, we should have a bit more time to proselyte though, yippee:) sharing the Gospel brings peace to the soul.  It's so true.

Love you all!

Bye bye E. Alvey!
Weekly Scripture: Mosiah 4:9
Believe in God; believe that he is, and that he created all things, both in heaven and in earth; believe that he has all wisdom, and all power, both in heaven and in earth; believe that man doth not comprehend all the things which the Lord can comprehend.
