Week 35, 5/24/16

Hey homies. Well we definitely don't have to worry about fires in Edmonton for a little while. Our prayers were answered and it has been raining ever since Friday night! Unfortunately Fort Mac hasn't received sufficient rain to put out the fires so keep praying for them!

Well this week was awesome and full of adventure. Unfortunately the work hasn't gone quite as well as it did last week, but still pretty productive and things are still looking up. We are still in the process of setting up a lesson with V and L, and we are still very excited and hopeful for that. We haven't been able to meet again with B and his family yet but we have something set up for Saturday morning along with 2 other appointments with potential investigators that day.
On exchange with E. Wilde

Yesterday we visited a less active single mother of 6 who just moved into the ward, and she has an unbaptized 9 year old boy and another boy is going to be 8 soon, so we are hopefully going to teach them! We also have an appointment set up for tomorrow with a guy named D who we met on the street who seems really sincere, and we have a couple service opportunities with non-members lined up this upcoming week as well. So this week was basically full of more finding potentials, setting up appointments with the potentials we already have, and biking through the rain. Luckily Saturday we didn't have to be soaking wet all day because for a lot of the day we were helping set up and decorate the stake center gym for a single adult dinner/dance/conference thing.

Pretty sweet mountain biking terrain.  But not in the mud!
Sunday and Monday were full of adventure and wetness, I'll include some pictures. There is a big ravine and river that basically splits our area in half, and Sunday and Monday we were working a bit in that area because our supper appointments were there, so we were finding all sorts of creative ways to cross the ravine on our bikes and we got pretty wet and muddy. Tons of fun though that's for sure!  Well that's basically all I have to report on this week. I hope you all have a great week this week! Love you all, the church is true:)

Weekly scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:6 6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
