Week 43, 7/19/16

Hey hosers.  Get ready for lots of pics from this week.... WE WENT TO JASPER NATIONAL PARK.  Well I'll try to make this email short and sweet.  Basically everything I wrote about last week that sounded promising either fell through, hasn't been set up yet, or wasn't actually as promising as it seemed.  The only person we ended up meeting with this week was Zxxx and his fam.  The lessons with them are still going great!  Hopefully next week I will have something to say about Gerry, Keir, Connor, Violet and Loice, Maxwell, or any other random person we happen to talk to:)

Something pretty cool happened on Sunday.  We ran into this Muslim guy named Mustafa last week who I taught the restoration to on the street forever ago, and invited to church.  He doesn't speak great English, and didn't seem super interested, but he was super nice and humble (if they are humble, anything is possible).  He looked super happy to see us and apologized for not coming to church.  We invited him to come this week, and he actually ended up coming!  He went to the wrong ward but hey we can address that later haha.  We are gonna visit him on Wednesday, and we are pumped.

So grateful to these guys for offering to take us on an unforgettable
pday trip to see a part of Canada that we never would have otherwise!

Now onto the highlight of the week: JASPER!!! In this mission we can go to Jasper National Park once if a member offers to take us.   It is in the Canadian Rockies north of Banff and west of Edmonton. A while ago a member in our ward who is the 2nd counselor in the stake presidency offered to take us with his son who got back from his mission 7 months ago.  We left at 5 am on Saturday morning.  AHHHH IT WAS SO GOOD TO SEE THE MOUNTAINS AGAIN.  The mountains there are the most amazing and majestic mountains I have ever seen.  We had an awesome day walking around waterfalls, doing a sick hike next to a sick mountain and a sick glacier, walking around this island on a beautiful lake right next to another awesome looking huge mountain. I'll just let the pictures do the talking.  Gosh it was such a fun day.  Talk about tender mercies... I can't even express how awesome the whole thing was so I'm not really going to try.  Don't worry we switched our pday to Saturday to do it.

Well folks, that's it for this week.  Hopefully Greenfield will turn into Redfield with all the flaming hot missionary work fire that will ignite this week eh?  God is good, He blesses us a whole bunch, especially when we do what's right.

Love you all, toodles.

Weekly scripture: Alma 30:44 44 But Alma said unto him: Thou hast had signs enough; will ye tempt your God? Will ye say, Show unto me a sign, when ye have the testimony of all these thy brethren, and also all the holy prophets? The scriptures are laid before thee, yea, and all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator.
