What's up hosers? This week was an interesting one for sure. We had a little bit of everything, ill try to pick out all the most important things so this email isnt years long:)
Wednesday - Friday was a
spiritual/training feast for us. Wednesday there was a worldwide
missionary broadcast and we got to listen to the head council of the missionary
department of the church simply talk about the doctrine of Christ, teaching
repentance and baptizing converts, and a bunch of other things, it was
revelatory for me! There were also some new changes in our schedule which
allows us more free time in the morning and evenings, and more freedom to
choose when in the day we do all our studies and things like that. Its
pretty sweet:). They also changed the key indicators we report, so we keep
track of way less numbers now!
Thursday
we had an MLC with Elder Larry J. Echo Hawk of the seventy and got to receive
some counsel from him and his wife, it was pretty cool. Friday was spent
mostly with the Echo Hawks as well, we had a mission tour! We received
some awesome training and heard some miraculous stories from Elder Echo
Hawk. I honestly can't really remember one simple thing that stood out to
me from it, I just remember the thick spirit that was there the whole time.
It was intense!
Saturday morning
President told us we would be getting a third companion later in the day who is
struggling and he would be working closely with for the next few days.
When he dropped him off the first thing he said was, "Party at Ellerslie!"...
now we have 5 missionaries staying in this tiny house haha. Its pretty
impossible to do anything productive in my free time now but oh well. I
have had some good opportunities to practice becoming more patient is all I'm
gonna say;) So we have been in a tripan since Saturday and it has been
interesting for sure. Sunday we got to
teach Monica and Roycent again!! We were both looking forward to that
appointment all week, and it went pretty well. I've never had so much
hope that someone would accept the gospel.... they are so cool! Pray for
them!
Yesterday we got F bombed at a
couple times, tracted a lot, just the usual:)
Well I guess that covers my week. I learned a lot of good lessons this
week and felt the spirit so strong. I know that Jesus Christ lives, this
is His work and His gospel, and He leads us through living prophets. Everyone do me a real big favour this week
and cheer EXTRA HARD for my patriots!!! ❤️💙

Weekly Scripture: Mosiah 3:19 For the natural
man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be,
forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit, and
putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of
Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child, submissive, meek, humble, patient,
full of love, willing to submit to all things which the Lord seeth fit to
inflict upon him, even as a child doth submit to his father
